as mentioned by some, the main flaw of this humidifier is that if you (or a child) moves the humidifier so much as an inch water will spill everywhere. The warning is in the manual but more water spills out than you might expect. If your using it on tile, hard surfaces probably not a problem, but if you have carpet I would probably look elsewhere.

It's okay (Impressive, Chicago, 2008-02-11)

The unit seems sturday so I'm assuming it will last. don't like the fact that it emits a "cold" midst and that it makes a lot of noise (have to disconnect it when I'm on the phone). But it seems to be a solid humidifier that will last a while and that's the most important thing.

You seriously cannot move this things with any water left in it, or the water will spill out the sides. It is really really annoying. The humidifier does a good job though, and it is pretty quite.

This unit is noisy. It has a strange filter that fell apart and appeared to have mold on it. I noticed no change in the humidity level of the room either.
