Traditions Wool & Silk Rug - Very Nice (EASL, Ventura CA, 2008-02-10)

Beautifully made rug, thick & plush. Colors are quite different from what showed on my screen, though. It's not as gold as it appears - - it has a very light cream background, with fairly dominant olive and gold tones in the pattern. Still very attractive, and it worked with my decor. The rug is wearing very well - no shedding or pilling. It is an exceptional value for the price. I did a lot of shopping first, and found many rugs that were in the $900 - $1200 range that were not nearly as nice as this one.

Wow!!! is all I can say about this purchase. I ordered this item for my den and although the color scheme is slightly different than the picture indicates, the rug matches perfectly and is a nice compliment to the decor of this room. Very high quality at a great price. I have purchased other furnishing items from Overstock and have not been disappointed in any transaction. This area rug is another fine selection. I recommend Overstock to friends and family as an excellent option to their local shopping.

beautiful carpet (MickiefromVA, Alexandria, VA, 2008-01-25)

This carpet is very thick. When placed over existing wall-wall carpet is it absolutely decadent!! One comment made previously: The background color IS very much lighter than in the picture. It is on the lighter side of off-white. Other colors just pop. Love this carpet. The price is lower than one would expect for this quality. I'm considering getting another one for the dining room.

the rug is perfect - very bright and full of color. its very different from the picture but i read the consumer reviews before buying it and new it would be perfect. the background is much more an ivory color (as the description says) but in the picture it appears yellow and gold. It has a bright appeal to it and i am very pleased with it!
