Great Buy...but watch the on/off switch! (lukersmommy, Utah, 2008-01-08)

This is the first non-cheapy flat iron I have purchased, and I can't believe the difference it makes in how my hair looks! Before, I had to wash my hair the night before, put it up in large rollers to smooth out my hair a bit, and then straighten it the next morning and hope it looks decent. Now, I can just let it air dry and then quickly straighten it! And it looks great! I only have one complaint, and that is that the on/off switch sometimes slips down to the off position while I'm using it...so I have to keep a close eye on it and keep making sure it's all the way in the on position. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this iron!

The Hai is Hot! (Dar4, Near Chicago, IL, 2008-01-09)

I bought the Hai for my daughter. She was thrilled because it was the same flat iron that was used on her hair at a top tier salon. There is nothing to compare to how well the Hai works. I've used it on my hair and it is fantastic. We are African-American and I have two daughters and all three of us have different hair types and textures. None of us wants to use any chemicals in our hair. The Hai works on all of us. I was reluctant to spend the money at first, but it was well worth it. I would purchase another one in a heartbeat.

I purchased the HAI Convertible Ceramic Ionic Flat Hair Iron at the suggestion of another user. I am impressed with its quick heat quality and durability. I like that there are numbered degree heat settings which was not offered on other flat irons I've purchased. Overall, this flat iron is a great value. I've spent more and less on other, sometime inferior products and must say that I am extremely satisfied with the HAI Convertible Ceramic Ionic Flat Hair Iron.

I have purchased 2 HAI flat irons in the past 3 years. All were exceptional quality and I had been very pleased with their products. However, this one I just received does not work very well and does not stay in the "on" position. I had thrown away the box when I received it so I could not send it back, I think they usually are worth the money, I just got a bad one.

NO REGRETS (tabooizm, SF, CA, 2008-01-14)

It seems very expensive, yes. But once you use it, you will understand why! It's lightweight compared to my previous ones (Revlon, Vidal Sassoon) so my wrist never hurts. It can curl like a curling iron, and I never feel like it's damaging my hair. It must be the ion-based or tourmaline-based action, who knows. Highly recommended!
