Simple, classic christening gown (bcymom, Madison, WI, 2008-04-14)

I was looking for a simple, traditional, cotton christening gown for my baby girl, and was having a hard time finding something that didn't look like an over-the-top miniature wedding gown. This one is nearly perfect. It is 100% cotton, has substantial thickness, a slip layer, and is very soft. It feels like good quality sheets, and is not at all see-through, like some other cotton gowns I found. The style is very simple and classic, and would be appropriate for a girl or boy. The only thing that could make this gown better is if it was a few inches longer. My baby is 3 1/2 months old and is in the 90th percentile for length. I bought the 3-6month size, and the gown still covers her feet, but I'd like it even more if it had a bit more length.

Beatiful Christening Gown (MommaVee, Long Beach, NY, 2008-02-25)

The online picture did not do justice for this item. When I received the christening gown for my God daughter, I was pleasantly surprised how it's appearance exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful. The detail work on the sleeve caps, the trim on the bottom, as well as the hat, was absolutely gorgeous. It was very well made and looked like and handmade piece of clothing. Something to have as a keepsake. It is fully lined which made me happy too. I was very happy with my purchase and so was my God daughter's mother. It was a wonderful value. I Highly recommend.

Beautiful Christening Gown (NewNCMom, NC, 2008-01-13)

Beautiful christening gown--even prettier than the picture. The detail on the sleeves is beautiful. It arrived quickly, even though we had to order it during the busiest time of the year. My only (slightly) negative comment--the booties run bigger than the gown and bonnet. We will hopefully be using this gown for generations to come.

This christening gown is absolutely adorable. I looked everywhere for something not shiny and covered in lace - but that was fit for our little princess and found it in this cotton gown. It is simple yet elegant. The bonnet size runs large but the booties and gown run true to size.

This dress is exactly what I was looking for! It is comfortable and there are no itchy lace collars or stiff underslips to irritate my baby girl. It is still beautiful and has a cotton liner, booties and bonnet. I love it!
