This humidifier is so quiet! Perfect for the bedroom. It was slighter larger than I had expected and I would have preferred more sensitive digital buttons or dials instead of the push buttons on the front. Appearance aside, it functions exactly as it is supposed to. My apartment is very hot and dry and I used to wake up in the middle of the night feeling thirsty or with bloody noses but with the germ guardian I sleep soundly through the night.

Excellent Humidifier for Room Use! (BarbaraFAZ, Chandler, AZ, 2008-06-09)

My husband and I live in the desert Southwest, and it can be quite dry. My husband loves this product, and the other day he stated it was a most intelligent purchase. This is because the moist air at night is quieting my very loud snoring ... imagine that! I expected for my nose to feel less irritated due to the dryness, but who could have imagined it would quiet snoring. Great buy!

I saw one of these at my son's house and my dauther in law told me that she has never slept better. I ordered mine from Overstock and wow what a difference it makes. It is very easy to operate and really works great. Absolutely the quietest thing I have ever had. Buy it you will be glad you did
