Not silk but plastic... (Zhann, Colorado, 2008-05-11)

Although I read the other reveiws on this product, no one mentioned the fact that the seed pods are plastic or vinyl. When i received mine I was rather put off by the fact the pods weren't silk. Although the plant looks realistic from a distance, you can tell when you get close enough that it's not a silk seed pod. Also, that fact, to me anyway, makes it way over priced for what you receive, albeit may be the only faux Lunaria on the web that looks good, the branches are not detailed or of a natural dried stem color, but a spray paint brown, but again from a moderate distance they take second place to the pods. I was pleased at the delivery time, I had a project that needed this plant, and was on a deadline, it arrived very quickly. But my initial reaction to the plant was average, I had hoped for better noting the images and cost. It would also be nice if these branches were individual and not cemented into an inexpensive plain glass vase. That way you could make the bunch as full or sparatan as you would like.

This is very beautiful and works well for the small area I used it in but do not expect it to be full and large as pictured. You can tell that it is fake close up due to the fact that you cansee a cheap plastic was used for stems. Nice but niot worth this price.

When I received my Lucky Luna and opened the box I was very surprised! It is truly beautiful, and I am so glad that I bought it. It was full enough, and very elegant. I have it sitting on a glass side table in my living room and it looks perfect. Lucky me!

A great Center piece (Eluvs, Chicago, IL, 2008-05-17)

beautiful, easy and carefree. One tidbit....you have to un-tangle the branches when pulled out of the box, it is not as full as the photo. Once you un-tangle the branches (manupulate the way you like), it will look as full as the photo.

A rare find (chedevian, Queens, New York, 2008-04-02)

This purchase was a birthday gift for my mom and she absolutely loved it! I loved it as well but the only problem I had was when the box came it was bent in a little. This is a great gift product for Birthday or Mother's Day.
