this cane is super handy, I can keep it in my purse until I need it, pop it open and it sets itself up. it is nice and strong and in the dark I use it to find the right key. It makes me feel safer also because of the built in alarm. no battery to bother with, just wind it up with the little thingy built right into the handle. all so neat, neat neat.

Practical, safe and sophisticated! (amatter, California, 2008-01-17)

Gave it to my father for Christmas, and my cousin who was visiting from out of town loved it so much, and appreciated the safety and quality of it that he order one for his own father. I'm not sure what it is about men and their flashlights, but this little gadget lends to giving a MAN back his dignity. He receives compliments everywhere he goes.

I assembled and tested this cane before sending on to a friend in need of same, and he and I both agree that it is a very good product. Sturdy, stable and fun to use. (He is in an assisted living facility and has received many good comments about it. He also uses the light for his night walks outside.) We are both very pleased with it.

No more clanging cane falling off a chair in a restaurant. This cane will fold up nicely on the table on in your purse/bag. I love the flashlight and alarm. Added security for somone who cannot move fast.
