Fantom Falcon-Faulty (Raggedylady, Hollywood, Florida, 2008-04-25)

I purchase these in bulk. First one lasted less than 1 year before the plastic parts began crumbling. First the wheels which are not replaceable, than the plastic part that holds the hose, etc. Vacuum works great, but cheap construction makes it a throw away. I threw out #1 and started using #2, 3 mos ago. Less than 3 mos of use and plastic part that holds the hose to the rod ( interior "plastic extension tips")broke off. My husband fashioned a makeshift repair part and clamp to hold it together. Waiting for another part to break soon. Would not recommend Fantom. This is the second fantom cannister vac I have purchased. First one was just a Fantom and it fared about 2 yrs use.
