Great for fine, straight hair (FineHair, New Jersey, 2008-04-07)

While I've used this hair dryer just a few times since it arrived last week, I love it! Ionic, tourmaline, and ceramic dryers flatten hair that is fine and straight. Not this Elchim product! Great volume and it's amazingly quiet for such a powerful hair dryer. It also has a very long cord. Another reviewer mentioned poor placement of the switches and yes, I've already accidentally changed the speed and temperature. But this is a minor issue compared to the benefits. Overstock has the best price on the Web and the lowest shipping charges. What an ordeal to find another basic yet powerful hair dryer to replace my wonderful old dryer, so I'm buying another Elchim right now!

Elchim 2001 Classic Hair Dryer - Excellent (Bettyboop, New York, NY, 2008-02-08)

I already have this hairdryer and it's 3 years old and still working well but I thought I should buy another one before it blows out because I do not want to be without a hairdryer. This is an excellent, light weight hairdryer with a nice long cord. I have curly hair and always blow it straight so I use it often and the first dryer is still going. I would recommend this hairdryer to everyone. It is a hairdryer that will last a long time and works extremely well. I have excellent results with my hair all the time (that is weather permitting). It is well worth every penny.

I have been using this brand for many years and very happy with the outcome. The product is durable, low noise, not heavy and it is a pleasure to feel my hair after styling it. You cannot beat overstock low price for this item. Its total price including shipping still less if you were to purchase it at any hair supply store. I love this product.

This hair dryer really makes a difference in the volume of my hair. The force of the air is responsible for more volume and there is a lot of force in this dryer. This is the dryer that salons use and the price on overstock.com was almost 1/2 of the price at the beauty salon. I would definitely recommend this produce.

This is an excellent hair dryer. I had purchase this brand previously about five years ago from my hairdresser I paid alot more for it. I would highly recommend this dryer .
