Photo is wrong. (Txflyr, Austin, TX, 2008-08-20)

I've been looking for awhile for a set in blue, teal and purple, and so I fairly jumped on this one when I saw it online. Received it yesterday and now I am still looking. The actual product looks nothing like the photo. The color differences are dramatic. The overall colors on the real item are maroon/burgundy instead of purple, dark gold instead of beige, warm green instead of teal. The real colors are VERY dark compared to the picture, and the overall impression is warm and heavy, not the cool blues and purples I was expecting. There is no purple on the comforter, and on the sheets/pillowcases the only purple is in the little stripes. What looks like purple in the bigger stripes is actually maroon and again, what seems to be beige is actually gold. Even the photo on the product itself doesn't match what's inside the bag. You may like the colors, just be aware they are not what's shown. Also, the overall impression of the photo doesn't really fit how the set looks when the bed is made up. The picture gives an impression of stripes but the actual appearance of the made-up bed is big square blocks, not stripes, w hich are only on the pillowcases, and underneath on the sheets where you can't see them. . Also pay attention to the dimensions. The comforter is 86x86 but that is the smallest of the queen size range and boy does it matter. The comforter barely hangs four inches over the bottom end of the bed and that's only when it's pulled down several inches from the top. It doesn't begin to cover the end of the mattress, nor do the sides unless you pull one side way down and leave the other side short. Way too small for a queen comforter. And the quality is very poor, stiff and scratchy. The comforter is so stiff it doesn't drape or hang, it sticks out and you have to tug on it to make it lay over the edges. I'll definitely pay more attention in future to sizes and thread counts. They do make a difference. And then the overall quality is poor also. There are flaws in the fabric including an outright hole in one place, and it's poorly constructed with errors in the sewing in several places. The sheets do not feel soft at all and the print does not go all the way through the fabric. The filling in the comforter is lumpy and uneven. All in all not a good buy. I'm very disappointed.

Okay Comforter (KCPANgel8, , 2008-08-27)

This is a comforter that is great for the value due to the fact of it being reversible. The appearance is similar to the pictures but the colors are darker. The comforter is somewhat on the mid-thick side. I would buy again from overstock but not if you in a hurry to get your product. The shipping was of great value it just took a while to receive your product. I place the order on 8-14-08 did not receive in the mail at my home until 8-25-08.

This set is perfect in every way. If anyone is looking for a comforter in any shade of purple,you better grab this one before it gets away. I love it. Purple is my favorite color so this is the perfect one for me.I am glad I ordered it!!

THE PICTURE IS PERFECT . THE ACTUAL PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE. THE COLORS ARE DRABLY MUTED AND THE SHEETS ARE LIKE SAND PAPER. IT IS THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN FROM OVERSTOCK. I PACKED IT BACK UP THE SAME DAY TO SHIP BACK .

Dream bed in a bag (moroccanjeweltone, Florida, 2008-08-30)

The value and color of this product was why I bought it. I should have known better than to buy a 200 thread count bed package. For those that don't mind that this is a great set.
