Great Duvet (jarreau, lousiana, 2008-02-15)

I first ordered a queen size duvet for a queen size comforter. It arrived in a timely manner, but the size was no where near a fit for the comforter, so I had to order a king size duvet cover, after 1.5wks it not arrived, so I went on line and ordered another king size. Within two days I received the cover. It was a little small but I could make it work. I loved the color, the material and the look. It was just wanted I wanted for my room. I had guest the next night and she said it was very comfortable. I would advise someone to purchase this. I would advise them regarding the size. Also, when I took the two duvet covers to the post office to return, I was told that if I had the return adhesive labels it would cost much less than with the printed labels that OS.com instructs you to print. It costs $26.00 to return the two duvet covers. Maybe this should be addressed and an return label could be included with shipment. Overall, I am pleased with my puchase.

No disappointment (KayNS, Gresham, OR, 2008-06-01)

This duvet cover is beautiful. I ordered the one in white and the striping effect is elegant. It hasn't been through a washing yet, however, so I'm eager to see how it looks after that. Hopefully, it will still retain the beauty, quality, and appearance it now has. It easily fits over our comforter, the button closures stay buttoned, and it settles smoothly when the bed is made. They weren't stingy with the material when they made it so it amply fits our king-sized bed. I was very pleasantly surprised about the quality I got for the price of the duvet. It feels and looks much more expensive than it is. I will be ordering another--either another white one or a color to go with our newly painted bedroom. The white just looks so appealing though against the new color though... I have ordered from Overstock before; they have yet to disappoint me. I feel certain that what I'm ordering is what I'll be happy with when I actually get it.

Okay, but... (EE24, Ohio, 2008-02-21)

First, a disclaimer- I have a king mattress that is like 21" deep... but... This comforter/duvet looks like cupcake icing. First, I washed it, and then the 'damask stripes' rose in what only could be described as "ribbing." I suppose I could take it off and iron it but I didn't think that should be necessary on bedding. Second, (and more telling to the cupcake theory) it barely covers the bed!! The comforter fits nicely in the duvet cover, but overall, this is not a great idea for someone with a giant bed... it barely covers the top of the bed! It looks ridiculous. Sure, that's my fault, but that's why I'm reviewing it-- this is not BIG enough to do justice to a huge bed, unless of course, you don't mind having your comforter just cover the top of the bed and not the sides.

Love the material, don't love the color (M1128502, Boston, 2008-04-18)

I love the stripes on this duvet cover! It adds a more luxurious finish to the duvet, and the material is soft but definately durable. It's a little wrinkly, but I'm not too fussy about those types of details so it works well for me. The color is also very similar to the picture online. I ordered the pink color, but it was a lot more overwhelmingly pink on the bed than that small swatch online. I thought the pink was going to be more of a rosy color, but it's definately Barbie pink. I'd definately order this duvet cover again, I would not choose the pink. The duvet also fits perfectly for my full/queen down comforter that I ordered from overstock a few years ago, and I've had no problems with the buttons so far, but I haven't washed it yet.

Quality duvet cover (wiseshopper435, Cedar City, Utah, 2008-06-19)

This duvet cover is beautiful and the quality of the fabric is as promised.I had previously ordered a different, less expensive duvet cover from Overstock only to discover that it is true, you really do get what you pay for. I returned the first set and ordered my current one, a better quality with a higher thread count, and my new purchase is wonderful. The warm gold tones are very soft and fit our decor, not to mention the quality feel of the fabric. Shoppers, do not skimp on something as important as thread count and workmanship when you are going to be spending half of your time sleeping on something that is scratchy and wrinkled. Love this one!!
