Attractive & nice looking (Michigander500, Michigan, 2008-03-03)

Prior to this purchase I owned a commercial grade blender that has lasted me 30 years...it's much heavier than this model which is why I'm a little unsure about the durability of thie Cyclonic...plus the Cyclonic has the glass container (my commercial one had a stainless steel container). Being more lightweight however, makes it easier to get in and out of storage. It only has a couple of speeds, but that's basically all one needs for most jobs...and it does do a nice job and cleans up easy. Keep in mind that if you use this for crushing ice or dense foods...pulse it...your motor will last much longer! The handle is nice...didn't have that before...and makes it easy for pouring. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product...hopefully I'll get another 30 years out of this one...if longevity is in the future for both the blender and me!

After using many other blenders, throughout the years, I found most to leave large chunks of ice and have far too many buttons that basically do the same thing. This blender is wonderful. Smoothies are my favorite and before this blender, I was disappointed in the finished product which was always less than "smooth." This blender has exceeded my expectations. It looks nice, is easy to clean and blends thoroughly. I would recommend this blender to anyone including my friends and I do.

Blender quality is questionable (kate612, Mechanicsburg, PA, 2008-04-30)

I'm always out for a great bargain - so when I saw the list price on this, it looked like a steal. The blender has worked fine the few times that we've used it, but I seriously doubt that it would've sold for the list price. The quality is fair, but not incredibly solid. And the lid is very light like an inexpensive plastic. Time will tell. Maybe this blender will hold up for decades. But it isn't the heavy -duty construction and quality that I thought I was getting.

Gets the job done (ohswell, Green Bay, WI, 2008-03-14)

The is a great blender! I read the reviews before purchasing it and saw that most people wanted a blender that could chop ice, so I figured that I'd do the job on my fruit smoothies. It works great, I've never had to stop the blender to adjust the mixture inside the jar. I have not yet tried to make a shake, but given the power of the unit, I don't think it would have any trouble.

Disappointed (mazzx3, PA, 2008-02-06)

I bought this blender because of all the great reviews on this site but I'm not having the luck with it that everyone else is. I used it several time to make slushies and it left large chucks of ice in the mix. I bought it for the main purpose of ice crushing and I'm disappointed with it. No matter how long I let it run, there are still ice chunks in the mix.
