Very good for the money (cccme, East Aurora, NY, 2008-03-21)

I bought this bike about a month ago. The packaging was fine, no problems with FedEx delivery. Can't beat Overstock shipping price for this!! I didn't find this bike to be too heavy, carried it upstairs myself and put it together myself in about 1 1/2 hours. No issues with craftsmanship at all. No problem with direction confusion thanks to reading other reviews (Thanks for that!) As for using it, I find it comfortable, quiet and easy to adjust. Very easy on and off due to design, almost petite compared to some I've seen and that's fine with me as it makes keeping it in my bedroom a nonissue. I find you have to squeeze it pretty tightly for heartrate to function properly. If I have a complaint, the resistance is a bit easy. I am not it great shape but found myself using level 5 immediately. Now I'm on 7. As I improve, I wonder if 9 will be enough, but this is a very good bike for the money and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't need really high resistance to get a work out.

Recumbent Stationary Bike (NoneGiven, Hot Springs, AR, 2008-04-26)

This bike is excellent for fitness in the home. It is very quiet and comfortable - the seat could use extra padding but is sufficient. I needed the bike for exercise strengthening my ankles after breaking both last fall and earlier neck surgery. Ease in assembly was no problem except for the cable for tension. There is a crossbar inside the channel that feeds the computer connector wires for some reason and passing that required weighting the lightweight connector wires through the shaft to the computer part. I taped one of the screws to a fabric band and dropped it through the shaft. Thankfully, there were no missing screws, either! It took less than an hour to assemble. The bike is smaller than most stationary bikes so it doesn't crowd my bedroom where I set it up. Great value all around! I have recommended it to friends already!!

Great value for the money! (Valmo, Gainesville FL, 2008-05-02)

I ordered this bike for my wife, who is rehabilitating after back surgery, and myself. The box arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. All the hardware was there and even included the two tools you need to put the bike together, although I did have to use a piece of coat hanger with a hook on the end to "fish" some of the wires out of the front post. Total time for assembly was about forty five minutes. I'm not a light-weight but I found the bike to be very sturdy. The seat to pedal distance can be easily adjusted for any leg length. The only less than ideal feature of this bike is that the resistance knob goes up to a setting of only 8. I started using it at a setting of 6. This is a good quality bike and I expect my wife and I will get many years use out of it. I would recommend it.

easy on the back (RaeLu, Grass Valley, CA, 2008-05-04)

I have been using this bike for about a month and find it very comfortable to use. It was priced about mid-range in my price range. The step though design is a very nice feature even though it was not one of the features I looked for in my search. The electronic panel is not as easy as to reset as it could be. The pulse monitor is fair, sometimes it takes awhile for it to decide to register. Overall it is comfortable, quiet, easy on the back and knees. I do put a towel on the seat back to absorb moisture in order to stay more comfortable. My husband put the bike together without any problems. It took him a little more than an hour from start to finish. He did use his own tools but said the directions were fine and everything went together easily.

Tension & assembly troubles (CherylH, Farmington, CT, 2008-05-03)

While trying to assemble a critical part, the directions were poor and I ended up easily breaking a piece off. I then had to struggle to repair the broken piece and ended up softening the metal with a lighter before pounding the piece with a hammer to reshape it. I still have no tension. the troubleshooting directions indicate that I must pull more of the wheel apart to solve that problem. I haven't had the time to even try. Since my exercise level was zero, riding without tension is fine for now. I bought the last one in stock, or I might have tried to send the big thing back. Taking it apart again would not have been my first choice. Other reviews show that it is a fine bike. I think I just got the one built on a Friday or Monday.
