| Excellent Laptop Cool Stand

| When I first received my cooling stand, I was very skeptical. There just isn't much to it...not at all what I had expected. I gave it a try and loved it! We recently purchased a second laptop and I decided to pick up a different cooling stand at a local department store. It was returned the very next day. I was not at impressed. My laptop was in a awkard position for me even on the lowest adjustment setting. The cooling stand that I purchased from Overstock, lets the air cirrulate on the bottom and I don't feel like the keyboard is in my face. I'm very pleased with this stand and I even ordered a second stand for our new laptop. I highly recommend this cooling stand. |

| This is a nice accessory for laptops. It is made of a strong type of styrofoam/plastic substance that if placed on a solid surface will keep your laptop from overheating. Grant it that it does not revolve or lift like some of the others, but it holds your laptop securely at an angle to relieve carpal stress. There might be a problem if you have a large laptop and want to use the pad on your lap. It's not that big, so use a tray or something under it. Otherwise it is a great buy. I bought one for my laptop at home. I think I will buy it for the one at work and then get a few for my children in college to use. |

| I would not recommend this item to anyone. I was having problems with my laptop overheating when I placed it on my lap. I read some of the reviews that said this item was useful when placing a computer on you lap. I have found the item to be very unuseful for this purpose. The material is very flimsy and ends up to close to the bottom of the laptop, causing it to still get very overheated when on my lap. The item does prop up my computer nicely when I have it on my desk, but that was not the purpose I wanted it for. The item is also quite small and might not work well to prop up larger laptops. |

| I got this because I had problems with my laptop shutting down from overheating. Although it was inexpensive, it's not really made for anything larger then a 12 inch notebook. I am using it right now, and it does fairly well on a table or desk, but not really for the lap. If you sit cross-legged, it will bend in the middle, and therefore, not do it's job. Overall, you get what you pay for. I'll be ordering something better made. |

| Cool Lift Laptop Stand

| Although this item is extremely low tech it will do the job. If used on a desk or table it helps your laptop cooling fan to do it's job. My only complaint is the size of the stand. You will have to get a board or other hard object to put the stand on while using using your laptop on your lap. The stand tilts the laptop to give a better slope for typing. It does give an extra amount of space under your laptop for air movement. |
