What an excellent product! (WyomingMo, Wyoming, 2008-08-01)

My cd drive on my computer had been dead for awhile, and instead of trying to repair it, I thought that I would just buy an external unit. I am SO glad that I got this one! It is very easy to operate - extremely well priced, too! (Did any of you look at the savings! This thing was definitely worth $200 if not more...) It took only a few minutes to get it up and running. One of the things that I liked best about it was when I was making cd's of all my pictures, it showed me how much room I had left on the cd. I made a music mix cd after I was done with all those cds, and I put over 170 songs on ONE CD. It has this thing where it can make the cd have any kind of music download - and then I just popped it in the van to listen to, and viola - there were so many songs to choose from! No more of this finding the cd I wanted, etc. Can't wait to make some DVD's with this thing! I can't rave about this product enough - I'm so glad that I got it. I know that you will love it too!

Didn't do what I needed (kc01, , 2008-02-04)

I wanted this for 2 purposes: 1.to be able to install ms money software 2. to play instructional dvds It did neither. The software installation failure is probably not the fault of the CD/DVD player/recorder, it may be some other issue. However, with the software that came with this, I could not play any of the DVDs I tried.

Great Value (BigDogLouie, New Orleans, 2008-01-20)

I needed a simple plug in DVD recorder, at a reasonable price. This fits the bill perfectly. It even comes with a basic version of Nero, which I wasn't aware of.
