Batteries only? (Ladyluck523, NY, NY, 2008-01-14)

I only bought this so my 11 yr old son could have some sort of alarm. I thought it plugged into an outlet but it uses 2 AA and 2 AAA batteries (not included) and there's no way to plug in a ac/dc adapter. Thankfully it was cheap so I don't feel I wasted much money on it and my son thinks the flashlight feature is cool and it accomplishes what I bought it for (an alarm for my son). It's good if you want a TRAVEL alarm clock but if you want a regular alarm clock by a 'real' one.
