We usually don't have anything artificial in the yard, but , for fun, ordered these flowers (for grandchildren!). It is really neat to sit on the deck and watch the roses change colors, from a faintest to brilliant ones. We went ahead and ordered sets for a neighbour and grandchildren, too. Everybody loves them. About the durability we don't have experience yet, but they look fine.

Solar Roses (PaulaAP, San Antonio, 2008-08-13)

Easy to assemble. Looked very pretty when the roses change colors. The only thing is that they do not last on all night long. It gets dark around 9:00 pm and when I went outside around 11:30 pm they were no longer lit. I have not contacted the manufacturer to see if it may be a problem with me. Otherwise they are pretty.

THREE OUT OF THE 4 I BOUGHT ARE FINE BUT THE FOURTH ONE RARELY LIGHTS UP AND THEN JUSTS BLINKS.I HAVE TRIED ALL THE THINGS THE DIRECTIONS SAID TO DO BUT IT DOES NOT WORK AND BECAUSE MY COMPUTER WAS DOWN IT IS UNLIKELY I CAN EXCHANGE IT NOW.THE OTHER ONES ARE BEAUTIFUL THOUGH

I gave these to my mom a month ago and she loved them, especially how they change colors. The best thing is we just receive golf ball and some tennis ball size hail and even though our car and house windows cracked, the roses looked perfect, Great buy.

Joy on the Patio (Prompt, Canton, Ohio, 2008-08-28)

These color-changing roses make relaxing on the patio at dusk and after dark a real treat! After the sun goes down, these roses are entertaining to watch. I can imagine how "little" ones" would enjoy the ever-changing colors, I know I do.
