Awesome 2 Way Radios! (wamps, , 2008-01-09)

These small hand held 2 way radios were a gift for my neighbor girls so when they are playing outside they communicate with their parent easily. The radios have are easy enough for younger children to use and have a great range! They can even use them if they go to their friends house which is a couple blocks away with no problems.

I just used these to travel with my husband. He was in the Rental Truck, I was in our car. They worked great! They didn't have as much of a range as I wanted (worked fantastic within visual range, but around corners and bends, not as well) but all in all, these were a great investment. My husband loved the surprise too.

I am very pleased with the Cobra walkie talkies that I purchased through overstock.com. I'm taking them on a cruise tomorrow but I've also used them with my grandkids at the mall. They are easy to use, voices come through clear and I like the weather channel. Thanks Overstock.com

Cobra 2-way radio (Stewartgirl20, Dayton, Ohio, 2008-01-04)

I bought them for my kids, so when they go to their friends house down the street I can get ahold of them. However, these do not reach 5 miles like stated. Overall, my children have fun with them and I can get talk to them easily,instead of trying to track them down.

I am happy with the purchase and found it to be a great deal. I was expecting it to be rechargable with a charging stand, but that is not included. It is no big deal, but I just wasn't expecting it.
