Clifton Extension Leg Stool (adr1129, Cape May, NJ, 2008-05-29)

I am happy with the stools I purchased. They are not perfect - the wood in the back of one of the stools is cracked but not very bad and on two of the stools the screws were stripped but don't think it will come apart (time will tell). The appearance of the stools and the material on the seat is of good quality. The feet are sharp so I bought rubber "shoes" for the bottom because I have wood floors. They look great in our new kitchen at the bar. I have looked in stores that only sell stools, and on line and in catalogues and these are the best I found for the style and price. I would recommend buying them.

Quality stool but seat height is listed wrong (MitzieG, Arizona, 2008-04-16)

Ordered three of these stools and loved the look of them, however, the seat height was not as tall as listed (I measured after putting one together) so had to send them back. I'm a smallish female and had no problem putting the stool together. The stool I put together had obviously been returned, but all the parts were there and I thought the stools were beautiful and just as good quality as those I've been looking at in stores for over $250.00. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the description is wrong.

CLIFTON COUNTER STOOLS (VPCENERGY, Yorba Linca, CA, 2008-01-25)

I love the 3 stools I purchased. They were a very good value. They were sturdier than I thought they would be. I planned on replacing the fabric on the seats, but didn't need to as it was nicer than it shows on the Internet. I priced similar stools, but didn't see anything as nice looking in this price range. My son-in-law put them together. All the parts were there. My only critique is that the feet will scratch a bare floor. You need to purchase little rubber caps-a very inexpensive fix.

Clifton Extension Leg Stool (dke12324, Memphis, TN, 2008-03-06)

The stool looks great once you can get it assembled. It was difficult to assemble. I ordered two of them, and one of them had the wrong parts shipped. Had to get new legs ship in order to assemble. I love the stools once we had them finally put together. My husband had difficulity with the stools...took hours to assemble, and some of the screws, etc. didn't fit. Would purchase again....but it would be nice if it were easier to put together and didn't have to wait on replacement parts.

barstools (rayna64, pleasanton, ca, 2008-01-20)

these barstools look good but have too many confusing bolts involved in assembly. the first stool assembly took a long time, the other two we ordered went quickly as we learned from the first. on two of the stools, certain parts of the bolt and mate assembly were stripped. too much trouble to return and reorder so I am using these stools but i'm not sure that i would recommend to a friend.
