Nice Curtains! (AnneMomof3, North Carolina, 2008-03-07)

I bought these and another similar pair of micro suede curtains, both in the chocolate brown. These were my first purchase off of Overstock, and I'm VERY pleased. The curtains I received match this picture and description, but the label on mine says they ARE machine washable, which is a big plus in a 9 year old boy's room! These block out the sun VERY well, and I am using only two panels (110 inches total width), to block out a double window that measures 72 inches across- there is ample curtain for blocking out the sun. I know that they recommend you have 2 or 3 times the window width, but the whole reason I wanted to replace his old curtains is that it was too difficult for him to get all 4 curtains out of the way in the morning, and so reducing 4 thin curtains to 2 of these thick and light blocking ones is a big help. Other reviewers are right that they appear to have too few tab tops, but I took the advice of another reviewer and purchased clip on rings to replace the tabs with, and they work perfectly! Nice feeling material, look much more expensive than they were. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase, and look forward to buying more from overstock in the future.

Great Product / Great Value (Tennessee2, Tennessee, 2008-06-16)

The price of these drapery panels is fantastic. They are wider than many available, which makes them look full and rich. The material looks like a very heavy fabric, but is surprisingly light weight which makes them easy to move on the rod. They block an amazing amount of light and heat (I'm sure they will block cold as well when the time comes). Llike other reviewers, I wish there were a couple of additional tabs on each panel, but the good points of these panels outweigh this minor flaw. I got 2 sets of the red panels for my bedroom window; they blend perfectly with Overstock's Moroccan Vintage Quilt Set (also highly recommended). Because these panels are extra wide, I bought an extra set, cut the panels in half length-wise, and quickly added them (with bed skirt pins - no sewing) to an existing bed skirt to make a beautiful, hard to find skirt for a king size bed with a 21" drop. No one can believe how little I spent on a complete bedroom face lift. Thanks, Overstock!

So great I bought more! (tntfan, Lake Tahoe Basin, CA, 2008-03-12)

These drapes are so beautiful and lush feeling and while they look extremely heavy they are light enough to go on any decorative rod. I bought the blue for my son's room and liked them so well I ordered the chocolate brown for the master bedroom. The colors online were very true and look deep and rich. Even my husband who is always skeptical about "deals" online thinks they are great. I couldn't believe how well they block out the light without that ugly white lining on the back most drapes have to block out the sun. I do agree that they need more loops as they tend to droop between pleats if they are not gathered tightly but we put some stiff drapery tape across the very top where the loops come down and they stay up nicely. I would definitely recommend these to anyone in any house. Noone will ever believe what a great bargain they are-less that what most store want for one panel and these come in pairs. Awesome!

Great curtains! (tms610, San Francisco Bay area, 2008-02-20)

I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases online, so I decided I'd add my 2 cents about these curtains. The curtains are beautiful, the color rich and true to online color (burgandy). I chose them to match a bedspread and wool rug on Overstock -- all match very well. I'd chosen them for color but also to help darken my bedroom in the AM. Works perfectly! The only potential draw-back is the tab tops, which I knew about before ordering because of other reviews, so it wasn't a surprise, but I can see how they are distracting. That's why I subtracted 1 star.) It won't be too hard to change someday but for now I'm enjoying them just as they are and am very pleased with my purchase!

Nearly blackout ... cozy yet upscale feel (lmonahan, Missouri, 2008-04-14)

Initially I was afraid to order these curtains because of the fabric (can you say dust?), but this hasn't been a problem at all. In fact, these curtains are nearly perfect. They hang just like they show in the picture and block out 90% of the light. This is perfect for our family room since we tend to watch movies during the daytime and were getting a lot of glare from the windows. These curtains were very easy to put up and arrange. While I did give it 5 stars in appearance - these curtains are beautiful and really give a luxurious feel to our family room - I would've liked for there to have been more tabs at the top. Other than that, these are perfect!
