great value/great rug (mohican, Kansas City, 2008-06-01)

We bought this large area rug for several reasons: 1. price 2. size 3. colors. Probably not much different from anyone else. We were intrigued by the wool rugs; but we have two dogs and we were concerned about the reported "shedding" of some along with allegies. So we went with the synthetic because of the dogs (and teenagers.) It is what we hoped for. The colors are brighter than the photo, but that is the risk of online purchasing. We checked with major vendors in the area, along with supposed discount and outlet stores. This was the best value for the size of rug we were looking for. The red is more like a wine color and stands out very well. The patter is bolder than the picture. Happy Hunting!

This is an overall good rug for the price. I only gave it 4 stars though because I have ordered rugs from Overstock before and they were much plusher. It was much thinner and material is stiffer than I was expecting. The colors are definitely deeper than what is shown in the picture. The picture is washed out which was really what I was trying to find. The rug did lay very flat right away and there was no odor at all.

Awesome rug (happygal1974, St. Louis, MO, 2008-02-13)

I wasn't sure about buying a rug online before I could touch it and see it, but the reviews were so good I thought I'd take a chance. The price was right and so were the reviewers. It is softer than I expected. I love it so much I bought the matching runner today. It is in our living room on a hardwood floor. We might get a pad some day but in my opinion it isn't necessary as the rug is pretty soft.

The rug was very good quality. Thicker than I expected for the price. The colors were much deeper than in the picture and the pattern was more intricate. I really liked the rug but it did not match the room I intended it to (since the deeper colors and much more formal than expected) but I kept it anyway since it was such a great rug.

My husband and I have been searching high and low for an affordable, good-looking area rug for our living room. We are very pleased with this rug. The ivory is fairly close to the on-line photo. The quality is great. The rug arrived in three days. We couldn't have asked for more.
