It won't last (Nikoneer, Portland, OR, 2008-08-04)

Usually I don't write reviews. But I got so frustrated yesterday when I couldn't recharge this, my CTA FOR NIKON DB-ELEN9 7.4V 1100mAh that I bought less than a year ago. I bought it as a backup, and I have use it and recharged only 3 or 4 times...!!! Ok, I know. The price was soo atractive. And when it comes to buy batteries, specially for digital cameras, we all know how much our brain keeps telling us that batteries SHOULD BE CHEAP, as well as GOOD. Well, that doesn't apply to this CTA-for-Nikon battery. You buy it today, you celebrate yourself today, your money savings today, but less than a year from today, you'll try to recharge your CTA battery and find it useless. And you'll find yourself fustrated, and with the only consolation price to write a review here, hoping save someone else's frustration AND money. When it comes to power Nikon D40 cameras, is worth paying extra for the real Nikon batteries. I mean, if you want them to last.
