simple, yet elegant (fly123, new york, 2008-06-17)

I just received this watch today. This is my first purchase from Overstock. I ordered it Saturday night and received it Tuesday afternoon. I am amazed at the speed of delivery. Now I know why everyone is so happy about the delivery. Now about the watch. Now when I ordered the watch, I thought I would receive a solid mother of pearl face because that's what the picture looked like. After I had ordered, I decided to check out other websites for this watch and price it out. I found a much better picture of the watch and saw that it had a white on white stripe design on the face. So just know the face is striped!! It is hard to see on Overstocks' picture of this watch, even when enlarged. The dial is tipped with white. There are 12 tiny diamonds on the bezel. 6 on each side. It's a nice watch and not showy at all. Like the heading said, "simple, yet elegant" The band is a shiny stainless steel. It feels very heavy . The date is displayed on the 3'O'clock. I have a small wrist and the face looks fine on my wrist. I definetly must have some links taken out. Otherwise, this looks like a durable, well constructed watch. Something I expect from Bulova.
