Easy Shop for Bar Stools (Tools30, Tennessee, 2008-05-25)

We were using leather chairs in our Breakfast Room in our new home. We looked everywhere, with no luck, for closely matching counter-height leather bar stools for the six foot bar in this area. We even looked on all out of state trips over a four month period, prior to completing our new dream home. My wife and I kept looking at these leather counter-height bar stools on the OverStock website and the comments of other reviewers. My wife was skeptical of getting a sturdy and quality looking bar stool for such a good price over the internet without first reviewing up close, especially since bar stools we didn't really like in local furniture stores were much more expensive. I finally talked her into giving it a try, since I was exhausted at trying to find acceptable bar stools from furniture stores, as we had run out of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama stores (as least it seemed like I had been in most of them). Well, my wife was pleasantly surprized. They were very well packaged, fully assembled as other comments had stated, and they looked great, almost a perfect match (the picture on the site was right on). They are also very sturdy, as I am a big guy, and there is no "wobble" on our stools. I highy recommend these stools to anyone looking for a quality counter-height leather bar stool set (set of 2), at a great price. They are just like the picture, wood color and all (we wanted a darker wood to match our room chairs). I hope this review helps those on the fence and tired of shopping stores with gas at $4.00 a gallon.

Not bad, not bad at all... (Krislw, Clifton Park, NY, 2008-03-09)

This was my first purchase from Overstock.com, and it certainly won't be my last. After years of looking for barstools, and not wanting to pay $300+ a piece at a furniture store, I figured I'd give these a shot. They're very nice, and comfortable. They are a great addition to any contemporary decor. We had no issues with the freight service, which for me, came through a subsidiary of ABF. The freight company called to schedule delivery, and the stools were delivered as promised. Overall, it took about 2 weeks to receive my order. If it were a pair of sneakers, that would be a long lead time, but for furniture, it's not bad at all.

QUALITY EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS (1allen, Utah, 2008-05-19)

I am very pleased with this purchase. The counter stools arrived within a few days in a large box, already assembled. The leather is high quality, the stitching is neat, and even the material and stapling on the underside of the seat are clean and are a sign that the stools are well made. Overall the quality is much higher than what I would expect from a similarly priced set of stools from the large furniture retailer in my area. I should also mention that they are very comfortable. I highly recommend this set to anyone.

Leather counter stools (chrissy1216, Boston, MA, 2008-06-02)

The stools are beautiful! No assembly at all, just take them right out of the box. The packaging was great. It really protected the product for shipping. I highly recommend these stools. The leather is really nice. The seats are very comfortable and they look great. So much so I purchased 6 of them! The shipping took a little longer than I thought it would but for the cost of shipping I'm not complaining! Doing business with Overstock was a wonderful experience. I am sure I will order more in the future.

Leather Cushion Counter Stools (DianMB, Olympia, WA., 2008-06-14)

These stools are beautiful, well made and the leather is high quality. They are comfortable, give support where needed and they are a joy to look at and have in my kitchen. We just remodeled our kitchen and I didn't want to spend a fortune for stools and I didn't with these. Overstock has them priced way below what you would pay retail and I am grateful I was able to find these quality built, pleasing to the eye stools. Buy these , you will love them.
