black swivel office chair--Boss Caressoft (slynnc, Newport News, VA, 2008-05-22)

I received the stool sooner than I expected! Not only was it a good value, it arrived quickly, well-packaged, and right to my door! I put it together with no problems, and it works perfectly for the purpose I had in mind. I have just turned a spare room into a workroom for myself, with a table for sewing and crafts, and a desk for personal correspondence, etc. I needed a comfortable chair that would work for crafting and sewing that I could just swivel around, roll forward a foot or so, and be at my desk, ready to write a check or letter! This chair is perfect for all applications, and it's very comfortable. Also easy to adjust.

I bought this chair for a lab space as I need something compact enough to swivel around counters, but comfortable enough that I can sit for some time working on a delicate procedure. I would say this product is great, there is good cushioning to the seat (that hopefully holds up to everyday sitting). The product came quickly, the packaging was secure, and the assembly could have been performed while I was blindfolded, hee hee! I priced these type of chairs out via our office supply vendor and I would have paid more than double--good chair at a great price! Yet again, Overstock makes me a satisfied customer!

Nice Plush Chair (MODdecorator, Sunny California, 2008-06-19)

Just got it today and it took literally 4 steps to assemble. Super easy. The cushion is plush and thick. The casters roll well. Everything is adjustable. Excellent construction. The fake leather is not bad at all. My cat liked it. She immediately jumped on and took over. My only complaint is adjusting the seat down. I'm 110 lbs. With this chair, I'm not heavy enough to sit and weigh down the chair when I release the pneumatic lever. I have to hop up and down. Lifting the lever to raise the chair is a cinch. But overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Worth the money.

I bought a desk to go with this chair. I'm in love with this chair!! This chair was very very easy to put this chair together!! It was already pre-assembled. Even my boyfriend liked this chair. So, I'll buy another one just for him. He was even impressed with the price. I love this chair. I'm sitting here in it right now. It's very comfortable and cushiony. I can't rant and rave enough on it. It's worth every penny. Thank you.

Not comfortable for long hrs of use (Robyn415, Menlo Park, CA., 2008-01-20)

The "beige" color is actually more of a tan/taupe. It's much daker than what I would consider to be beige. I bought this as a stool for my home office but it gives me a back ache. The seat doesn't have much give - it's hard foam so I don't know if it's throwing my spine off. Never got the hydraulic lift to work so it's stuck in on height. I think it would be OK for a guest chair or an occassional chair.
