Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight and maintain at least two feet between furniture and heat sources. Aniline and Protected leathers are especially sensitive to direct sunlight. Use a professional cleaner to help resist staining and prevent overall soiling. For oil based stains, use a professional degreaser.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! (SWET3, new york, 2008-03-15)

This is such a quality piece of furniture. It looks EXACTLY as shown in the picture. Once it arrives you only have to screw in the legs and you're done. Since I'm using it for storage, i had a friend make wheels for me so i could manuver it around my bedroom once it's full. I did read some reviews about scratches on it. Yes, there was a scratch on my as well. This is what I did- I GAVE IT A SPIT SHINE ! (no not with real spit; just an expression). The scratch was only superficial; it didn't break the leather. I used black kiwi shoe polish, with a little water (this is the spit; place a drop or two of water in the kiwi) and a clean cloth ; in a circular motion i went over the scratch very lightly; let it sit for about a minute; then I buffed it with a soft cloth. The first time I could still see the scratch very lightly. So, I did the process again and the scratch disappeared. I hope this works for you. ENJOY!

Looks great, excellent value (De4214, Smithtown, NY, 2008-08-18)

This was my first furniture purchase from Overstock.com. I took a leap of faith, anticipating this storage bench would be all that I'd hoped for. And, it was! First, it arrived quickly. Second, the shipping box was in good shape (so I'm pleased so far). The bench was in perfect condition upon arrival and fit perfectly in the family room. I left the legs off and liked the look of it better. Lots of room inside. The finish of the leather was not too shiny, as was the case with other benches I compared in the same price range. The only negative is that the silver hinges are mounted on the outside of the bench and are slightly visible. To fix that, I "painted them" with a black Sharpie permanent marker. Now, they are barely visible. Thanks Overstock.com for providing a product well worth the price and for your excellent customer service.

i would definitely reccommend this product to others. The product came quick, even though i don't care for UPS as the delivery service, had issues with them delivering the product. But once i recieved was very happy with it. It has ample storage space and is made of a great material. The only thing I was not happy with were the legs. On the previous reviews I read others said the same thing. One of my legs did not screw in; the piece pushed up into the ottoman so therefore i has to improvise with that one. The legs i feel should be re-constructed to connect in a different way. But besides that I am very pleased with it, its in my living room and looks absolutely gorgeous. I would most order from this website again.

Just what I've been looking for! (toliva, Carlsbad, NM, 2008-08-25)

I've searched high and low for a storage bench in which to store extra blankets and pillows. My extra bedroom/office is contemporary and most of the benches I've found have been very traditional and "fussy" ... this bench is perfect! The leather is very soft and padded ... and the interior is lined (which is especially nice for expensive blankets that you don't want snagged!) Attaching the feet was a piece of cake but you will need a long screwdriver. Basically, it's a very classy-looking piece of furniture for an excellent price! My next purchase: the brown one for my bedroom! Thanks, Overstock, I've always had such great shopping experiences with you!

Great Piece (KJH2, Fairport, NY, 2008-08-09)

This ottoman fits perfectly under my double window in the entranceway. There is a TON of storage. I'm able to store all my CD's, DVD's, hat's & mittens. You have to attached the legs and there were no directions on how to put them on (not that it's difficult to figure out but they are a funky shape so you have to play around with it a little). The allen wrench they give you is way too short so make sure you have a screwdriver or phillips head to put the legs on. Shipping was great and you can't beat the cost. I ordered it on a Thursday and had it by the next Thursday. I found an online coupon for 20% off, so that made the deal even sweeter!
