Very nice soft brief case. (BGBGBG, DC, 2008-03-16)

Looks great. Far more practical than a hard brief case. Plenty of pockets for containing your loose bits. Looks like it is well made. Fairly soft leather, which gives it a great look and feel, but may cost it a little in durability - time will tell, but I still expect it to last pretty well as construction looks good, zips are heavy duty etc. It isn't a hugh brief case (each of the two compartments are only a couple of inches wide), I wondered if it was big enough when I first got it, intending to take it as my one and only brief case, laptop bag and carry on bag when going on week long business trips. It has proven to be big enough, in fact if it were any bigger I'd just end up lugging around extra junk that really should be in my suitcase anyway! It will take a laptop, but not being a designated laptop bag it doesn't have a padded compartment - the flip side to that though, is that it doesn't have the whole heap of extra bulk associated with the padded laptop cell. My work computer is a fairly compact ThinkPad with a 15.4" screen - that fits fine. My personal laptop is a Dell Inspiron with a 17" screen and will NOT fit.

Tough on Bags (SDRick, San Diego, 2008-02-24)

This appears to be a great bag. Just what I was looking for. It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but I don't know that that's a bad thing. It is a masculine looking "man bag" for those of you that worry about such things. I just took it on a trip to New York, and it fit very comfortably under the seat in front of me. It is similar to another bag I had, that I had for a long time, and I did pay a little less for that one, but this is a good value for a leather bag. I'm tough on bags, so I only gave 4 stars for durability, because I'll have to see if it holds up. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased a briefcase - black leather. I couldn't tell from the photo on-line or description as much as I would have liked about this briefcase, but it turned out to be great. Lots of pockets, dividers inside, etc. The leather is good quality and the briefcase will last a long time. Great value for a great price.

I'm pickey, but this briefcase is way better than I expected. The leather is soft & pliable. The divisions are nice. All the pockets are great for my stuff. The zippers work smooth. It arrived quickly in time for a long trip. Looks like it should hold up nicely.

Great briefcase (HnD1974, Orange, CA, 2008-01-06)

We purchased this as a gift for our son-in-law who recently has begun carrying his records from one job site to another. He was very pleased with this bag as it allows him to maintain a professional look while easily keeping his documents organized.
