Noisy!! (aeilo, , 2008-02-27)

First of all, I don't see how the filters are supposed to be lifelong for the unit. According to the directions, you take out the Hepa filters and vacuum them. But, I'll admit I haven't put that to the test yet. Straight out of the box, the thing is way too noisy to run on a high speed - even at the lowest speed it has a distracting, tinny, LOUD hum. Never had such a noisy air cleaner, and I have a few of varying design. I'll keep it for now, but I don't think this was such a great buy. I left the durabilty at 3 stars as I haven't put it to the full test yet, but be warned of the noise!

Bionaire Air Purifier (Jaynekay, Victorville, California, 2008-03-28)

The difference that this air purifier made in my home office was unbelievable. I could not keep the dust level down with all the paperwork going on and paper shredder, copier, computer, printer, etc. My Asthma was even bothering again. Dusting every day was just stirring it up more. My son saw this and brought over his Bionaire air purifier from his son's nursery and said to try it. I could not believe the difference it made. I can breathe better and only have to dust once a week or two. I was so impressed that I bought one for myself and two more for my two daughters that have small babies.

A very nice product (Montanabuyer, Kalispell, MT, 2008-06-08)

We've had this air purifier for about a month. It makes our old, dusty house smell fresh, and we can breathe much better at night--even with the cat on the bed. It is not as noisy as I thought it would be (after reading all the reviews). I can sleep with it on the medium setting and still hear my daughter calling me from the next room. And it makes a steady, pleasant white noise that you can easily ignore. It also has an oscillating setting, which was a nice added bonus that I didn't expect. I am very happy with this product.

Ahh. Fresh Air (T2frmGtown, Mesquite, TX, 2008-03-31)

This is my first time buying an air purifier, and it seems to be doing a great job. The bedroom that I keep the purifier in, is not as dusty as it was previously. I seem to sleep better at night while it is running, and not bothered by my allergies while I sleep. But there is one con, the air purifier is kinda loud on the high setting. The medium and low setting are more tolerable.

very good product! I have allergies and I am usually stuffy at nite but this as changed that. I am shocked yet vry satisfied. Its not the best looking but it does the job well! thanx overstock!
