I love it! (cfrench, somewhere, FL, 2008-01-20)

I've had it for about a year and it's still works like it was new. I don't know why people say it's made of cheap plastic, although it is made of plastic it is not cheap and yes it gets very hot and can not be handled except for the handles which don't get hot. I had a chi which ended up in the trash. I hated it. I have very thick and very curly hair and this iron makes it soft and straight.

i haven't used a chi or hai, but i do have another brand straightener and it's junk compared to this one. i have thick, wavy hair and it makes my hair straight. it does make a weird buzzing noise, but maybe that's part of its deal, i don't know. for the price, i'd definitely buy this again and what's great is that it works on damp hair too.

Titanium Flat Iron (Mahit, Pittsburgh, PA, 2008-02-08)

I have seen similar "professional" flatirons at other stores for a great deal less. I was upset that there were no instructions for use or a warranty.
