Best one ever (SueMoSue, Seattle, 2008-05-19)

I love this mattress pad. I've tried several, and most have been a disappointment. I have this in Queen, and recently upgraded to King so had quite the quest to find this mattress pad in King. I couldn't remember where I'd gotten it before, so ended up buying and returning several before I zeroed in on this one. The best things about this are that it DOESN'T shrink too much when washed, and it has great elastic sides. Others would no longer stretch across the top of the bed, after washing, but this one holds its shape. The deep elastic sides work wonders to hold it in place. It's not that cheap fiber papery stuff that you rip and poke holes in when trying to stretch to fit the mattress. It's strong fabric with rows and rows of elastic so it holds and grabs everywhere, fits deep mattresses, and stays in place. We have a three year old who somehow finds his way into our bed in the middle of the night, so a waterproof pad is essential for us. We don't find it overly sweaty, as some can be, and it's not loud and crinkly.

Best Waterproof Mattress Cover (Citysides, Morristown, NJ, 2008-04-07)

I bought 2 of these covers for my 5 yr olds' Queen sized bed. She was sick this week and these covers worked great. I washed them both several times and they held up well in the washer and dryer. They fit great on the bed, are quiet, don't smell plasticy, and are very comfortable. The pad itself is terrific quality. The material that makes up the sides is definitely a bit thin and flimsy, and if you are not careful putting it on you can tear through it. However, I have tried several mattress covers and these are the best. Especially for the price. I highly recommend them. I just went back and bought 2 more for when my son gets his Queen sized bed.

Waterproof - proofed! (SoORSusan, Oregon, 2008-01-19)

This product is vinyl backed (despite other comments) but it is quilt covered, so it doesn't feel like it is. It doesn't make crinkly sounds or feel vinyl backed. It has deep pockets and fits my pillow top with feather bed or my foam mattress equally as well. Holds up to washing - but I line dry to keep the vinyl in good shape. I eat in bed (bad sleep hygiene, but hey) and my pets sometimes knock over liquids. It has held up to about 4 cups plus of miso soup broth without leaking through! I'm waiting for more to come in stock - this is the best price going on a waterproof mattress pad - usually a King is 2-3 times the price!

We recently put our 3 year old in a queen sized bet with a nice mattress set. Given we are still potty training, we decided to purchase a nice mattress protector. I looked at several websites and was about to pay $125 for the same brand with the same features when I thought about Overstock. I was very pleased to spend a fraction of the price for essentially the same product. The mattress protector fits the double pillowtop queen sized mattress like a dream and you don't hear a crunchy plastic sound when we sit on the bed. Very pleased with our purchase!!

Fantastic Buy (hpdlv, Las Vegas, Nevada, 2008-05-06)

I looked around quite a bit before buying this waterproof mattress pad. I needed 1 California king, 1 queen and 2 twin, so the price needed to be excellent. We have had these for about a month now and they are wonderful!!! My husband couldn't even tell that the mattress pad was waterproof. I was also very happy to see that it fit (with room to spare) our California king mattress (with pillow top). If you're in the market for a mattress pad, this is the one to choose!!! They could easily charge so much more for this product because of its quality.
