This 10-part HBO television miniseries focuses on Easy Company, a group of American soldiers in World War II, tracking their experiences from the beginning of boot camp to the end of the war. Anchored by actors Damian Lewis and Ron Livingston, the series gives detailed attention to their experiences as a group, as well as the way that each of them develops individually. Based on historian Stephen E. Ambrose's book of real-life accounts, BAND OF BROTHERS was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who worked together on SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. Hanks also directed one episode, featuring his son, Colin Hanks.

We LOVE this movie series! (SpaGirlKitty, Birmingham, AL, 2008-03-10)

My husband has always wanted this series, but didn't want to spend the money for it. I decided to get it for him for Valentine's Day and he loves it. Even though I ordered late, Overstock was on the ball and got it to me quicker than expected. We did let our 8 and 10 year old girls watch the movies with us. This movie definitely needs parental quidance. Warning, don't order this series if you don't want to spend the next couple of nights glued to the TV because it is addicting and you will want to see them all as soon as possible.

This is a series you could watch several times. Way too graphic for small children, though. I am not a big fan of war films, but this series ranks up there with "Saving Private Ryan" in its quality and plot development. You just can't stop watching!

This HBO series honors our veterans with a true-to-life depiction of battles and acts of courage and brotherhood. This was well worth the purchase price! And a great purchase price it is! This series is not for children--screen carefully.

My dad owns this terrific miniseries and after having watched it 3 times last summer I decided I should buy my own copy now that I live 2500 miles away. Bravo to Tom Hanks and PlayTone productions for bringing us this great miniseries!

Overall, pleased with the speed of delivery and the quality of the DVD. One DVD had a small scratch on it, but it did not affect it ability to play on my DVD player. Overall, very happy with product.
