Couldnt be happier (JaxNY, Austin, TX, 2008-01-07)

So I bought this bed after reading a ton of reviews - I also bought the nightstand and the 4-drawer chest. The bed was the last thing I put together because it came in 3 boxes, and well, it was intimidating. My advice is to start with the other pieces first and finish with the bed. All of the Axium pieces I ordered are assembled with the same basic hardware and instructions so once you put one together, it's easier to get through the ones after. I'm a 25 yr old single girl and I basically put everything together myself, except for having a neighbor come help me with 1 of the steps assembling the bed. If I can do it, I think anyone can! (But a power screwdriver will definitely help.) The bed looks beautiful - it's sleek and modern and has a nice heavy, sturdy construction. Be careful when assembling though, because the finish scratches easily. Other than that, I would definitely buy more of this stuff if I need it!

Great Bed (MzDealHunter, Boston, MA, 2008-01-04)

The bed is unbelievable. It is made of solid wood and is very sturdy. I am using it with a box spring and a double pillow top mattress. That transforms the bed into a spectacular height….great for those of us who have the vertical advantage. Assembling the bed was an adventure but not impossible. It took a little over an hour and an extra set of hands was only needed a handful of times. An electric drill is mandatory. My only complaint is that the head board had a crack in it that went thru the wood. While is should have been covered with touch-up paint, I was worried that is would compromise the strength and integrity of the bed. Needless to say Overstock is sending a replacement.

Excellent bed (325ti, , 2008-02-10)

Appearance: The bed looks great. We were really happy with the style, and the finish has a rich, deep color to it. Assembly: It's a little tough to assemble, due mostly to the size. I found that using the shipping boxes to prop up the side rails while attaching the head/foot boards helped a lot. All the instructions are clear, and there are extras of the small parts if needed. Shipping: This item ships in multiple boxes, and everything arrived quickly and in good shape.

Very Nice Quality (Kurt127, Mentor, OH, 2008-02-15)

Like most people I was kind of skeptical to buy a piece of furniture online without actually seeing it in person. But after searching at some local furniture stores and comparing prices I took a chance and am very glad that I did. The quality is awesome and the assembly was pretty much what I expected, not very difficult but did take a little time. For good quality furniture you should expect that the assembly wouldn't be just a few bolts. I would highly reccommend.

Great!! (Shal9, NY, 2008-01-04)

After reading the reviews of how difficult this was to assemble, we were quite hesitant but the pieces look so nice, so we took the risk. The bed came in three long skinny boxes and the nighttables came in one small skinny box. My husband and father took about three hours to assemble the bed and nighttables. The furniture is excellent and so sturdy! It is definitely worth the price and the effort! You will not be disappointed!
