Looks good but wastes water (annanomaly6, , 2008-08-01)

I like the look and feel of this faucet, but the water continues to run for several seconds after I shut off the handles. It seems to be water that would have been between the shut-off valve and the end of the spout, however, I have a similar faucet which does not do this. I am unsure where the problem lies or if there is something that can be done to correct it and plan to contact the manufacturer. In general, this faucet was a good buy but wastes water. If it turns out to be an installation issue and not a problem with the faucet itself, I would give it 5 stars and recommend it to a friend.
