IPOD shuffle (buffelo, San antonio,Texas, 2008-05-08)

The item I received could not be charged for use. It appears the prone o the charger would not connect to the IPOD shuffler. The item came in a nice box but the item would not function . I also tired to connect to the ITunes system where it should program to drop in songs. This also did not work. I did not know this was a reconditioned item. The item even though reconditioned should have performed. I could not charge it and I could not load songs. When I eventually plugged it in it would not plug in directly aqnd had to be reposiitoned. Power was going to the Ipod because the light flased off and on but would not take the charge after 8 hours. Very unsatisfied and I will be returning this product. I do need to know where to send it.

Apple 1GB 2nd Generation iPod Shuffle (Gimpykatk, Watervliet ,NY, 2008-03-21)

We had one of these already and the charger cord broke. They are very fragile but the IPOD is great. I found a replacement cord was to cost $30.00 all by itself, and couldn't believe the deal for this Shuffle on Overstock, and for just about $10.00 more I now have two Shuffles. Everything looked like it was brand new. The only confusing part was registering it on the computer as it was refurbished so it already showed it was registered somewhere else, but my son was able to correct that issue for me no problem. If you don't have an IPOD the SHUFFLE is a great starter IPOD and when you hear the music play for the first time you will be amazed at how wonderful the music sounds. I love it.

DOESN'T WORK! (Sidyl, CA, 2008-03-21)

I am very technically savvy and this darn thing just wouldn't work. At first it wouldn't charge just from my computer, then once I loaded Itunes which seems to be required, it lit as if it was charged but would not play. Loading the music to it was easy through Windows Media, but that was all I could do with this piece of junk. Looking at forums for this same item I found that MANY have this and similar problems. You would think being the #1 mp3 brand Apple would make it easier to use a simple player...! Will Never buy IPOD!

Really nice gadget (bluehawaiian, Wilmington, DE, 2008-03-16)

I play at an arcade when I go to Atlantic City on Sundays; I won one of these in the arcade a year ago. Had this thing up and running in no time at all. Along with using it when I'm in Atlantic City and using quite a bit of my battery, this thing charges up in no time at all. There is even a 2 gigabyte shuffle available now; I have that one as well. Just depends on when I'm in a silver or a purple mood in Atlantic City. What also blows my mind is that these gadgets now come in a variety of different colors.

Refurbished is the way to go! (spylman, Michigan, 2008-05-01)

I use my refurbished iPod Shuffle for exercising and it rocks! I always buy refurbished items if I can (only if they are Apple Certified - which this was). The Shuffle works great. No problems downloading songs from iTunes right away. Very easy to use. Exterior in excellent condition (if you care about that). I bought the Monster brand iFreePlay cordless headphones for exercising and they work AWESOME with the Shuffle. I am very pleased with my purchases!
