Sync issues and poor customer service (Nic8Nic, , 2008-05-28)

This is the 5th ipod I've owned thus am very familiar with the software and how to sync. I was disappointed that after attempts to sync this shuffle I received an error message indicating it could not recognize the hard disc (which means the software could recognize the new shuffle). I received poor support from the 3rd party company supporting the product (not Apple) who ultimately had me ship the product back (at my expense). Then they sent it back to me and it still didn't work! After looking up my problem on Apple's website, I discovered that this issue is very common with the 3rd gen shuffle (lots of users blogged about the problem and one user posted a solution). Unfortulately the solution is complex -but works. However, I have to run through a long process on my computer involving the Device Manager and a manual sync every time I want to sync the ipod. What a pain. Don't buy this shuffle.

Love it (Livinntn, Nashville TN, 2008-07-31)

I am really enjoying this tiny IPod. It holds over a hundred mp3 saved in the highest quality. It didn't take long at all to charge it, and then the charge last me for days. It is truly amazing. It is really easy to load music to it once you download ITunes and figure that program out. Also the ear phones are some of the best I have ever used. The sounds that come out of them is great, and yet those around you don't hear anything like you can with most other ear phones. This is one of the most wonderful music players I have ever had. I clip it on the inside of my shirt and tuck the phone wires in and it goes pretty much undetected by others. If you are thinking about buying one of these, you will be happy you did.

My First iPod & I'm in Love.. (Sylkae, San Jose, CA, 2008-04-10)

I have put off getting an iPod, but when I saw the xlint price of this one, I just had to try it. I am absolutely impressed with the sound quality of something so little. I can connect it to my computer, my speaker system or my headphones, while taking a walk. It's so easy to adjust the volume or change songs while walking and clips right onto you. I can also use it in my car by connecting it to my Aux and playing it through my car speakers. I can't say enough about this little "guy" and I brag about it to everyone. Thank you again, Overstock for PRICE and Quality.

Ipod Shuffle (bwylie, Duvall, Washington, 2008-04-25)

The audio quality is excellent and easy to use. My Ipod, however, has a defect which I hope is not common. When the Ipod was connected to the computer and using the ITunes program, an updated software need was detected and recommended by the software.The Apple updated software was not able to reprogram the unit due some unknown error. This has caused me some downloading problems when using ITunes. I deal with it because I can work around those issues,but next time I would not buy a refurbished model.

I love my ipod shuffle!!! It is so easy to use, even I can do it. I can either shuffle the music by just moving one button, or I can hear it by the cd, the way I put them in. I prefer the shuffle mode, becuz I like being surprised by what's playing next. It's so small that I can put in on my collar and go for a walk, go skiing, or do anything without even noticing it's even there. Except for all my choice music on there, of course! All in all, it's the best! Very good purchase on my part!
