Completely Satisfied (DonaldJ, Houston, Texas, 2008-03-08)

It began with a google search for Elephant Lamps. I arrived at a well designed and excellent user interface that allowed me to browse a selection of what I was looking for. The detailed descriptions gave me clarity as to size, color, and the images displayed gave me confidence I had found what I was looking for. I ordered and within less than a week, my lamps arrived ... exactly as they had been described. Despite some assembly challenges (unfolding the shades perplexed me momentarily, but after unfolding, I realized what a perfect way to ship shades and keep them completely intact), I was very pleased with my purchase. I don't usually write reviews, but the experience with Overstock.com was exceptional and deserves my telling others that this is a site to be trusted. Next time I'll skip Google for my shopping searches and start with Overstock.com ... you should give it a try !!!

Yet more lighting from Overstock (MOTB, NJ, 2008-04-29)

This is the 3rd set of lights I have purchased from Overstock for my new home on the most elegant street in my town. The elephant lamps are just as well crafted and beautiful as others have stated. They will be bedside lamps for my son's room, although when my husband saw them, he wanted them for his study. My new neighborhood is full of homes decorated from top to bottom by exclusive interior decorators, and my elephant lamps will wow all the neighbors. More importantly, my son loves them.

Ordered on Sunday night and arrived Fedex on Wed. morning. The lamps truly set the tone and mood of my King bedroom set. This isn't your cookie cutter find in typical retail stores. Unique and beautifully crafted art pieces you'll enjoy for the years to come. The picture do not do the justice of its details. It's worth every penny of it. The only down side is the setting up of the lamp shades which requires some muscle works.

i thought the lamps were very substantial and good sized...i didn't like the lampshades and purchased another pair to tone down the lamps a bit....the original lampshades were a little tricky to assemble....and was really not crazy about the shape or beading....i kept the lamps after replacing lampshades and repainting my bedroom....they're a bit ecclectic..

Elephant Lamps (G072, Crestline, Ca ., 2008-01-21)

These lamps are very unigue in appearance. They are heavy and come with a very nice brown cloth shade. The decorative antique appearing finish is well done. The base of the lamps look like cast metal but they are some sort of plaster material. Overall I would say these are nice looking decorative lamps that you will not find elsewhere.
