Completely scientificly and clinically proven (bjc23, New York, NY, 2008-02-06)

This product was originally developed for people with cardio or blood circulation problems (eg. diabetes), but it's just as beneficial for healthy people also. Even now professional athletes are using it to speed up their muscle recovery and have a more restful sleep. If you look it up and do your research you'll see it was developed at Loyola Medical School and they've done the clinical research showing that the nanotechnology of this product increases the oxygen in your red blood cells significantly. I got one for each member of my family and even got one for my dog after he suffered from a stroke. His paws were very cold but when he lied on this, his paws became warm. Increased the blood circulation. My vet even told me that now horse breeders are using this material to develop saddles. If you're wondering on its thickness, it's not overwhelmingly thick, so I actually put it over another foam like mattress pad that I have.

Poor fit (dmcpcc, Massapequa, NY, 2008-08-15)

This mattress pad does not fit snugly on the bed. It is always riding up the mattress and I constantly have to fix it. I have a 14 inch mattress and all of the mattress pads are now made for the larger mattresses. So unless you have a 22 inch mattress, (or 20 inch as is the case with this mattress pad) nothing is going to fit. The sheets never stay on the bed properly. I now am going to have to buy custom made sheets & mattress pads.

We love it! (PerfectSleep, Columbia, Missouri, 2008-06-12)

We already have a Select Comfort air mattress but wanted a more indulgent topper so we combined the Ambient mattress pad/cover with the Ultimate Comfort pad (also on Overstock). It's truly the most luxurious of beds and we absolutely love it! The Ambient pad easily accomodates the mattress and added mattress pad. Also, because the Ambient material is a bit slick, it makes it easier to change the bed linens. We couldn't be happier.

Thickness and Size Misleading (jjcruiser, Orange County, CA, 2008-03-29)

Though the Ambient Mattress Pad appears to be a fairly high qualtity product, buyers should be aware that the thickness is not even close to "as advertised" thickness. Instead of 2-3" it is more like 1/2' thick at most......about double the thickness of a standard pad. Also, the King Size is 78" X 80", not 78" X 83" as advertised....this is actually a good thing as that is the correct size for a King Mattress.

ambient comfort mattress pad (ranan, South Carolina, 2008-03-31)

This is a great mattress pad. It is lovely to sleep on, very comfortable and well made. It fits nicely over my euro-top mattress with room to spare. I wouldn't normally have paid this much for a mattress pad, but I have had several others, and none were as sturdy as this one. If I had purchased this one first, I wouldn't have had the need to buy any others.
