Before using this product it is necessary to inflate it several times in the first week. 3rd time not a charm (GradStudentD, Riverside, CA, 2008-02-23)

I owned one of these beds before and used it as my primary bed for 18 months before it started losing air on a regular basis. Given the relative cost and convenience of one of these beds over a traditional matress set, I was very pleased and ordered another to replace the old one. Unfortunately, that one constantly lost air, despite my following the manufacturer's instructions on how to fix that problem. I returned it, got a replacement, had the same problem, returned THAT one, got a replacement, and had the same problem AGAIN. I am now inclined to think that the first one I got that worked so well was the exception, not the rule. I no longer trust this product and will not consider ordering another. If you get a good one, they're great, but the chances of that happening are slim from what I've seen.

LOVE IT - BEST AIRBED EVER (KATSTUFF, silicon valley, ca, 2008-03-19)

I first slept on one of these when my friend bought them for her house in Mexico. When she told me we'd be sleeping on airbeds, I had pictures those thin ones we all used for camping in the 1990s. Not so. Better than a hotel bed. Then another friend bought them and I enjoyed a few nights sleep in his temporary guest room on the same beds. Got home, 86ed the bunk beds and put airbeds in the kids' room. Kids love them and when the kids are gone, we just deflate, store and have great open space in that room. Love them! Best part is they hardly lose any air. When the temperature drops, just hit the inflate button and presto! all is well again. Buy them!

Great Extra Bed (mamaschatz, Tulsa, OK, 2008-02-25)

We bought this bed to use when company comes and we need an extra place for our kids to sleep. My daughter kept it inflated in her bedroom for about 2 weeks. We didn't have any problems w/ it. She would just inflate it before bed to her comfort level. We didn't have problems like others had noted-air leak, waking up on floor, etc. My friend slept on it and said it was OK comfort wise. It is fine for 2 relatively small people. If you get to close to the outside of the mattress you feel as though you will fall off :-) I napped on it w/ my daughter and slept fine. I think for the money and ease of storing it will a great extra bed to have around.

I bought this bed about 3 years ago, yes you read right! 3 YEARS! And it is in the same condition I bought it in. This bed has been used my my inlaws that come to visit every year and stay with us for about 3 month+ and the love the bed. It fills up in about a min ( I have the Queen) Thay say it is better then their bed at home. You can adjust the air to make it hard or soft and you can dress the bed, which we do. It looks like a regular queen side bed in a room. I LOVE IT! The only thing is that the bag it came in ripped from since it is heavy but that is no biggy . I put it in a duffle bag when we are not using it. It is durable! BUY IT!

Word of Caution- but good bed! (jandmanda, Chicago, IL, 2008-03-05)

I will more then likely write another review after we've had the bed a bit longer. We received the bed yesterday. We're unable to currently afford a new bed, so someone suggested this with a featherbed. It was very comfortable until it kept losing air. So we slept something awful last night. We read the directions which stated to inflate and deflate at least 3 times to help the seals get into place, and oh my gosh- that TOTALLY did it! It's very comfortable procided you can get it to keep its air. DO NOT BE TURNED OFF BY THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF AIR LOSS. IT can work and feel amazing, but you have to follow manufacterer's suggestion
