Craft Table (ehscott, Indianapolis, 2008-01-14)

I thought this was a very good product, and was generally well constructed. The frame was very good, reminiscent of high grade office furniture. It put together with Allen head bolts that screwed into thread inserts in the frame beams. The one application where nuts were used with the bolts had nuts with thread lock inserts. However, the top to the table was too thin (made of a thin - about 1/2" - particle board with a masonite laminate on top and bottom)and developed a hairline crack in the bottom when it was being assembled. The crack did not show on the top. Also, the side trays (made of plastic) to the top were held on with plastic, which would make them easy to break off in the future However, these do not interfere with the use of the table, and I think it was a good value for its low ($114 appx) price. The shipping was free because of Christmas, which made it an even better value. I would recommend it, just be careful with the top when assembling it.

nice size (k9er, Southeast Texas, 2008-02-18)

We ordered this table for our son to do school work and his drawings on. The table is a good size for holding a lot of materials. The downside of the table is the side attachments, they are rather cheap plastic and don't stay attached as well as I think they should. They don't fall off on their own, but tend to fall off if bumped. The other downside my son has with the table is the metal bar that attaches to the front of the table, I suppose to keep things from falling off when the table is in full tilt position. He is bothered by the placement of the bar on his arms. We loosened the screws that hold in in place and pushed it all the way down so it's more or less out of the way, but still offers some barrier to keep things from sliding off the table. All in all, it is a pretty good solid table.

This table was a big hit! (SM86, Pittsburgh, PA, 2008-02-29)

My husband has to work with blueprints for his job and always wanted a drafting table. When we finally remodeled our office I surprised him with this table. He loves it! It is such great quality compared to what else is available - and I really shopped around. It's nice that it's on wheels and not fixed legs, and the supports are made of a nice heavy meta - not flimsy aluminum. Also, it has the caddies on the sides for all of your implements which NONE of the other tables had. The only drawback is the height - it's not as high as traditional drafting tables, so the stool I bought was too tall! But that's also a plus - you don't need a special chair! This is a great buy!!

Great Office Addition (Thornylady, Buckingham County, VA, 2008-01-25)

When I decided to refurbish my husbands office I chanced upon this drafting table to match his new metal and glass desk. Unfortunately, he was not available to assemble the furniture for me because of his demanding work schedule. Putting the drafting table together was alot easier than the desk. Everything matches and the sleek lines of the drafting table make for a comfortable work area. Upon completion of the office, my husband advised me that because of an updated completion deadline he would be bringing home his sketchwork and is very pleased to have the appropriate space to finish ahead of schedule!!

OK I guess (Lspot, MA, 2008-01-23)

It arrived with the box half open, bits of styrofoam everywhere, a nice chip on the top fake wood, exposing lovely particle board. I checked that all the parts were there and when satisfied that they were, began to assemble it. It went fine except one screw that keeps the bottom on was manufactured improperly and just turns around endlessly in the hole, stripped. I tightened the others extra tight to make up for it and it works fine. It rolls around around smoothly which I appreciate.
