Comfortable and definitely waterproof (Jaetet, Southeastern PA, 2008-04-01)

I purchased this mattress cover a couple of weeks ago and my three year old son has tested the waterproof capability about five times already. We've washed it six times and it has held up very well to the frequent washing and drying. It is very, very thick - I have trouble fitting it in my linen closet folded. It's so comfortable too - no trash bag or plastic feel / noise at all. We find it to be almost as comfortable as a goose down cover we have on another mattress. The cover fits our overstuffed mattress and goes on and off very easily. We really are satisfied with comfort and the fact it does what it's supposed to. That being said - I have only one minor complaint. The thin, elastic material that covers the sides of the mattresses is very soft - I put my fingernail through it when I was putting it on the mattress. I don't have long or jagged nails; the material is just very thin. The hole that my nail made has not yet pulled or gotten bigger, so it's still holding up! I guess the material being so thin is good for fitting big or oversized mattresses. I will be buying another one of these and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a waterproof mattress pad that doesn't feel like you're sleeping on a trash bag! A little pricey, but worth it.

Very good Mattress pad (Tim2342, Beloit Wi, 2008-03-28)

This is a nice size mattress pad that fits our new 15 inch pillowtop mattress. Its hard for us to attribute what is due to our new mattress vs what is due to the mattress pad. We have noticed that more warmth is contained to our body when we sleep. I don't know if this is due to the mattress pad or the new mattress in general. My wife loves the heat containment given that we live in Wisconsin where the seasons are winter, winter, winter, and summer. But I prefer a little less heat containment. However, there is no creaky noises. For a waterproof mattress pad, it is very quiet and very comfortable and fits a 15 inch mattress very well. The heat containment is probably the only issue which I am not even sure is attributable to the pad and you might like it any ways if you live in a northern climate.

Quiet & Comfy (carolyn1265, New Orleans, LA, 2008-01-07)

I didn't realize how noisy my old waterproof matress pad was until I got this one on the bed. I was "O-window shoping" when I saw this matress pad. I realized that the plastic backing on mine was torn and a millions years old. This was a little more than I would normally spend for this item but the other reviews won me over and so far I haven't been disappointed in anything I've bought here. First, this matress pad is completely QUIET. In fact the noisey, hot, plastic backing on my old one was keeping me awake at night. The fabic is very nice. I have a thick queen size matress with a 4 inch memory foam topper and this pad fits over the whole assembly just fine. My bed is now soft, comfortable and quiet, too. This is a good buy.

AMAZING!!! (goodealhunter, Virginia, 2008-07-15)

I bought this cover b/c I bought a select comforts mattress. The mattress is VERY thin, so I was worried about this slipping around on the mattress, but it DOES NOT MOVE!!! Also, there is no feeling of sleeping on plastic... it is so soft and comfy. We have two dogs and are always hanging out in the bedroom, so we wanted something to protect it, just in case somthing spilled, etc. So far it has kept the mattress in perfect condition. We have been using it about 3 weeks and I have LOVED every night on it. Would have easily paid $150.00 (b/c that is what the stores in my area were asking for this same type of cover) Everything I ever order from here surpasses my expectations!!

Waterproof pad (JudyJudyJudy, Miami, 2008-01-12)

I previously had a mattress pad on my bed and found out that it was not waterproof. How did I find out? The hard way--one of my elderly cats urinated on the bed and it went through to the memory foam topping. I had to throw the pad and memory foam away. Then I started checking pads and discovered that most are not waterproof. This one supposedly is. I purchased this pad as one reviewer stated it was not hot and unconfortable and it is waterproof. I live in the tropics do not need anything that will be hot. As it is, this pad is warm enough in the winter [4 stars for comfort] and I hope that it is not too uncomfortable in the summer. Everything else is great.
