APC Large Casual Leather Purse (gidyup, Los Angeles, CA, 2008-01-25)

I bought this purse in navy and it's a true navy (not blackish). It's a good size, not too small for my big wallet, but not too bulky and heavy either. It has comfortable, non-structured construction. The leather has a slight texture which I like for a more casual bag, and the handles fit comfortably over the shoulder. It's finished off nicely inside with a good zippered pocket, roomy center pocket and fold-over velcro style cell phone pocket....and I especially like the heavy, magnetic, hidden clasp at the inside top so that the purse contents aren't exposed...a really nice looking, servicable bag for the money.

Quality is excellent for the $ having seen similar for 3X's the amount in discount stores. Appearance is very nice and the longevity factor should be fine since the leather is thick and sturdy. My only issue is the color: I ordered this in white and the color is neither white or off-white or winter-white or bone or beige, but rather a butter color. I am keeping this handbag because of the aforementioned attributes and have clothes to match/blend, etc. BUT I still have the quest of finding a (real) white and winter-white handbag. Will keep searching on your site!

Don't buy it (coolhat, Westbrook, Maine, 2008-03-05)

It's true. The "white" bag is not white. Not even close. Some of the reviews describe the bag as "bone" or "off-white", but it's the color of butter (yes. I did a side-by-side comparison). The lining is cheap and flimsy. Noisy, too. It sounds and feels like a cheap windbreaker jacket. It has an off-putting smell as well. Not like nice new leather, more like a vintage pair of shoes. Seems durable on the outside, though. I'll probably just use this bag for my gym clothes.

Previously ordered the Winter White tote and liked it so much that I ordered the Navy. Dark Navy, good winter neutral. Perfect size for me, large enough to hold everything without looking like a suitcase. Center section acts as a divider making organization easy. Hoping it is as durable as it is attractive.

Great purse (josbo, Concord, NC, 2008-01-10)

I really like this purse. It is large enough for me to carry everything I need and has enough compartments to provide separation. It is navy blue which goes with most of my wardrobe. The handles are large enough that I can carry it by its handle or as a shoulder bag.
