Good, kind of... (eg192, Woodbridge, VA, 2008-01-10)

I was excited to get this accessory for our new Archos, since it would let us record directly from the TV. And it does do that, but, when it is attached, it blocks the port to charge, so you can't charge & record at the same time. Even though it's a neat product, the Archos seems to be a bit of a pyramid scheme; forcing you to buy adapters & accessories for everything, even AC charging! So, if you have a charger, this product is fine; if not, spend the extra & get the DVR accessory that also charges the device. And if you don't have an Archos? Shop around, keeping in mind you'll have to buy LOTS of add-ons to get the full functionality of this device.
