i could just cry! (shyfly2, overseas, 2008-03-08)

I bought the Terra Cotta and the Taupe sets. The Taupe is by far softer than the Terra Cotta(so maybe its a dye issue affecting the fibers of the cotton making it all poky), but still too rough for me. I was expecting a really soft and silky couple of sets of sheets, but my sets have not lived up to the hype. The price is great, they look great on my bed, but I ended up digging out my old top sheet and wrapping up in it in order to get to sleep, the sheets really bothered my skin. Also, my Terra Cotta set has a hole in the top sheet. I followed the washing instructions and used dryer sheets 3 times to no avail. I wasn't worried about the wrinkles as i have a nice duvet. I bought the king size for my queen bed (for some reason queen sheets never stay on) so I am please that the sets have elastic all the way around so it pulls in tight. I am going to try liquid fabric softener on these in hopes that I can save them when it arrives from the main land. If not they are going to the thrift store. I could just cry the expectation level was just too high for them to live up to!

Overall pretty good (wiz8mom, Auburn, WA, 2008-02-06)

This is the first set of 600 count sheets I've ever purchased, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, especially since online ordering doesn't provide the opportunity to feel them beforehand. We ordered the Terra Cotta, which is more orange than I expected, but it still goes well with our comforter, which is brown. The feel of the sheets is very nice, could be a little softer but I hope that additional washing will help. I also purchased a set of 500 count sheets that feel a bit softer than these. Still, the value for the price is unbeatable. One main complaint - I didn't check the size of the sheets before washing and I think they did shrink, but I probably should have changed the dryer setting to low. The corners slide off my king size mattress which is about 13 inches or so with padding.

Pretty Color - Pretty Tight (whitebreadtoast, Longwood, FL, 2008-03-01)

I bought these for our new 14in deep California King memory foam mattress. I ordered the mauve which is accurately depicted in the picture. I tried them on the bed before I washed just to check fit - they had room to spare and a beautiful delicate sheen. I threw them in the washer and followed the instructions on the package to a tee. Warm/Cold, dried on delicate. They did shrink up quite a bit leaving a very snug and almost too short fit, and some of the sheen did disappear. Overall, they're nice sheets - not as "silky" as some others I have of this same thread count, but not scratchy at all. Beware the shrink though. I'd say anything deeper than 14" and they won't fit after a wash. The color however, stayed true and is a very nice pink.

Very soft, great value for the money. (whyknot, Austin, TX, 2008-01-30)

These sheets are wonderfully soft, and according to my husband "a little too nice for the guest bed!" which is what they were purchased for. They are much softer than several expensive sets we have bought for the master bed. They washed nice the first time and became even softer, with no balling. They have also retained their sheen through several washings. I would not hesitate to purchase another set. My only complaint about these is that the Taupe color I purchased is more of a cool-toned brown than I was hoping. The color is rich, but has an almost purple undertone to it, as opposed to the warm orange-toned brown I was wanting. So they don't look perfect in the room, but they feel fabulous.

Slightly disappointed (Lucjy1, VA, 2008-02-20)

For 600 thread count the three (!) sheet sets I purchased are kind of thick and rigid. Color is definitively great, and although the sheet sets look like very good quality ones, they don't feel that comfortable or luxurious like the color would suggest. Also, one set was kind of dusty inside (one fold), like greyish dust or an anti-bugs(?) or humidity powder and I did not like that at all!! It did go away after washing (throughly!), but am still wodering what it was. And sheets were slightly tough to iron (but I did not follow exactly the instructions) It is just because I am too busy, otherwise I would have returned at least one of them. But the colors are great, so I guess I will keep them.
