Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.

Holds up well to small animal abuse! (Jessicaaz2008, Scottsdale, AZ, 2008-03-03)

I bought two of these comforters for myself and my mother who has never owned one before. My puppy promptly urinated on it, not once but twice! The tag said dry clean only but since I had washed my old down comforter before, I decided to give it a whirl. It has held up two washings on warm temperature with no bleach (I didn't want to chance it) and two cycles in my dryer for 2.5 hours each! The only thing is that the fabric is no longer shiny and silky - more like a softened matte cotton now instead of a sateen but who cares when its going in a duvet. I actually think it might be softer and fluffier now since the two washings! The down also did not shift at all. Its soft, weightless, and very fluffy. Not too warm, not too cool. Great value! Pay attention to the measurements, some other reviewers indicated they wished they had ordered a king size for a queen bed if you like the sides to hang over generously and for the same price, I might have to agree but it fits my queen duvet perfectly and I'm satisfied. My two italian greyhounds sleep under it with me and they now refuse to get out of bed in the morning when I'm getting ready for work!

Love it, love it, love it!! Will purchase another! (MenKK, TN, 2008-02-24)

I spent several hours on the computer trying to find a down comforter, and keeping in mind that you cant feel, touch, etc... on line. I decided to give this one a try... all I can say is... We LOVE it !! We live in a semi chilly state and at night this comforter is pur-fect !! Now, I did read the other "negative" reviews about feathers flying and the comforter just being plain "flat". All I can say about that is, it was flat when we first received it, "fluffed" up and with-in a week, it was "poofy" like I wanted and expected!! On the flying feathers, I have had it now for a couple of months, it just recently started having some loose feathers, not so much that it is creating a problem or an annoyance. Seriously, its a FEATHER down comforter, so... hello, you might get a few feathers! Anyway, its light weight, very warm and I will be purchasing another one for my daughters room !! I cant keep her from trying to "steal" it !! Buy it, you cant go wrong... especially with that price !!

I *love* my new comforter! (StephDoodle, Madison Heights, MI, 2008-03-12)

I have slept under down comforters for most of my life, and I used to order them from an expensive catalog (and now online) store, because "mom said they were the best"... I have to say that this comforter is exactly as warm and snuggly as the severely overpriced comforters are. Like several other reviewers mentioned, it came in a fairly small box (compared to what one might expect), and when you unfold it and lay it across the bed, it seems rather thin and sad. But happily, it fluffs up nicely in short order! Had I not read the other reviews, I might have been a little disappointed, and I might have returned it! Give it a good solid shaking to kick start the fluffing... Thanks to high heating costs, I turn my heat down to a chilly 60 degrees at night, and this comforter keeps me perfectly warm, even when wearing just a t-shirt. SO warm some nights, that I stick out a knee to regulate the temperature. I enthusiastically recommend this comforter!!

SIBERIAN 330 THREAD CT DOWN COMFORTER (mycheetahbug, Florida, 2008-01-05)

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my Daughter (Age 28) who had it on her list - and after numerous visits to dept stores in my local area, became quite unsatisfied with what was out there and decided to go online. (my first experience). Christmas came and went and she said she loved the gift - but thought I would give it a few weeks - to call and see how she really liked it and to my amazement - she said and I quote " You are NOT getitng this back. I really Love IT !!!" I only offered to give her the receipt - in case it was not exactly what she was looking for. Well....... I must admit... I was a bit skeptical about shopping online - but you have made this a very pleasant first experience !!! The fact that she is an Interior Designer made it even more special that she truly loved it !!! Would I come back to "Overstock"? In a heart beat !!!! I thank you for making my special gift to my Daughter so easy and enjoyable !!! Bonnie Florida

FLYAWAYS! (HoldYourBreath, , 2008-01-14)

The winters in Buffalo, NY are pretty frigid so I figured I should finally invest in a down comforter. The only problem was that I had two major requirements: that it was fluffy and that it didn't have too many feathers that would escape and get all over the place. Well, fluffy and beautiful it was, but the feathers were coming out after the first week! I was so mad, and the worst part was that it wasn't the big feathers that are a little easier to control, but it was the tiny tiny ones that just get all over your clothes and makes you look crazy! Plus, after a while I felt unable to breathe comfortably for fear of breathing in all those feathers. If I have to pay another 70 bucks for a duvet just to keep those annoying feathers from escaping, I might as well just buy a more expensive comforter that this won't happen with.
