When I received my bench I was so excited, the excitedness quickly faded as my husband and I began to put together the bench. The holes for the back had been drilled in the WRONG place. There was absolutley no way the bench could be put together. The only reason I was able to keep the bench was because my husband redrilled new holes and filled the old ones.

I like this bench. I had read the reviews and the bench was as I expected. Delivery was prompt. Instructions on building it were good. It didnt take long to put together and there are a number of different options on how to finish the bench. Felt I had value for money.

The bench is heavy, went together easily, and seems to be very sturdy. We painted it a shiny black, put it in the back of the garden, and with the peonies in bloom on either side of it, it looks really old fashioned. This was a good buy.
