Rain tree wood beads with aluminum bells and light blue rhombuses adorn the exterior, while yellow threads spiral round the shoulder strap
The bag closes with a loop over a hand-carved coconut shell button

The Story Behind the Product:

Artisan Jiap Rojjana was born in a province north of Bangkok. She says, 'The idea working with textiles came about after visiting a silk shop. Such a wide range of beautifully colored, intricate cloth patterns mesmerized me! I bought some cloth to make myself a dress. With the scrap pieces of silk I made a few cushions and gave them to a friend of mine, who surprisingly liked them so much that she wanted to buy some from me to give to her friends. So it started, making clothes, wall hangings, table runners, cushion covers and various items with beautiful, diverse silk and cotton.'

Great Bag for the Price (baggirl008, CA, 2008-02-23)

I just got this bag at the beginning of the week and I really love the color and overall look of the bag. In addition, the packaging that it came in was well thought out and really added to the wonderful buying experience. The only problem that I had with this bag is that the little silver bells on the outside make a lot of noise. My cats were chasing me around my house because they thought that I was carrying around a large toy! However, you can remove the small metal balls inside the bells which eliminates most of the noise while retaining the look of the bells. I also decided to reinforce the thread running through the brown beads because they seemed kind of loose and I didnt want them to fall off when I wore the bag outdoors. Overall this is an ADORABLE bag. The color scheme is gorgeous and the detail is amazing. It's a completely unique, comfortable and wonderful piece to have in any bag collection. I would highly recommend purchasing this item.

Overall, fair (Bonniemp, Marion, Va., 2008-03-09)

It's like the description says, but it's not exactly what I was expecting, it only has the one compartment, not even an interior small one, which makes it difficult to find anything. And the clasp, is flower shaped, and it's aggravating to try to open and close. One good thing is that it stays put on my shoulder easier then most other bags, so I didn't have to keep adjusting it. Over all, I'll probably wind up giving it away.

I was thrilled to recieve this bag! I liked everything about it. It feels great on your shoulder and is so unique. I also lilke the fact that I may be helping someone in another country. In all the three years I've been using Overstock, this is the first time I've left a written review. I felt this product deserved the accolade.

I bought this bag for myself but my daughter she's 12, she found it in my room and took it. She liked the bag very much and it looked good on her too when she wore it. I'm kinda jealous but I feel satisfied that I bought this bag. At first glance it looked kinda ordinary but then when you're using it, it's fabulous.

Happy with my bag (DLCFG, NY, 2008-01-03)

When I recieved the bag today, I couldn't wait to open the box. It was packed very well, I love the tiny bells that are on the bag, as well as the elephants too. I'm glad I ordered it when i did.
