Artisan Nyoman Suarjana:

'My name is I Nyoman Suarjana and I was born in Bongkasa on January 1, 1968. As farmers with eleven children, my parents couldn't do much for our education. At that time, being able to eat three times a day was good enough for us. My uncle, I Nyoman Punduh, was the one who brought new color into my life. In 1989, he asked me to work with him and taught me how to make art works from silver. Thanks to him, now I can produce various kinds of jewelry made of silver, and make my dreams come true.'

I've had this necklace for a long time now and it is just as beautiful as when I purchased it!! The blue of the stones is a medium blue and the workmanship is excellent! Don't hesitate to purchase this!! I wish it had earrings to match or a bracelet to match. I finally earrings on an other site. I wear this w/ jeans or dress up also!

This necklace is so great. I have had strangers stop me in the store to compliment me on this item. The craftsmanship is awesome, and the item is extremely well made. People are shocked when I tell them how little it cost! This item would be out of my pricerange at full cost, but on Overstock it's affordable.
